Lynne Gummo Joins SC&H Group
Will serve as Director of Audit for Northern Virginia Operations
MCLEAN, VA – February 24, 2009 – SC&H Group – one of the area’s top accounting and consulting firms – announced today that Lynne Gummo, CPA, has joined the firm as the Director of Audit in the Northern Virginia office. Ms. Gummo’s focus will include providing audits to a wide range of industries and expanding the firm’s government contract consulting and mergers and acquisitions/transaction advisory services in the Washington, DC area.

Ms. Gummo has over 20 years of professional and industry experience in the areas of government contracting, mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, and operations. She has provided consultation to primarily closely-held government contractors regarding strategic planning, FAR and CAS, compliance assessments and business management operation reviews. Ms. Gummo has also planned and managed numerous audits of contractors with annual revenues ranging up to $500 million.
Ms. Gummo is actively involved in a number of business and community organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Technology Council, Tech Council of Maryland and the Professional Services Council. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Professional Accountancy, with distinction, from Pennsylvania State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Texas and Alaska.
