SC&H Group Hires Former Managing Director for Maryland Venture Fund to Expand the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice

SPARKS, MD – February 5, 2007 – SC&H Group, LLC, a leading CPA and Management Consulting firm, announced that Ann Quinn has joined the firm as a vice president in SC&H Capital, a practice that focuses on mergers and acquisitions

Ms. Quinn has extensive experience in the private and public sectors. Most notably, she served as Managing Director for the Maryland Venture Fund, where she oversaw all equity financing activities for the State of Maryland. With a focus on the advancement of advanced technology and life sciences companies, she managed a portfolio of 120 active companies and 10 venture capital limited partnerships, while retaining six Board of Director memberships. In addition, she has held senior management positions for technology and strategy companies in the areas of operations, funding strategy, and marketing.

Ms. Quinn will help SC&H clients with strategic planning, transaction advisory services, debt and equity financing, and corporate divestitures and acquisitions.    

Currently, Ann Quinn chairs the Greater Baltimore Technology Council and is an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. In 2004, she was recognized as one of the top 40 Baltimore area business professionals under the age of 40. Ms. Quinn holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from Loyola College in Maryland
