SC&H GROUP, LLC ANNOUNCES FIRM NAME CHANGES

SPARKS, MD – August 30, 2006 – SC&H Group, LLC, a leading CPA and Management Consulting firm, today announced that they have merged the individual firms comprising the company under the SC&H Group, LLC umbrella.  With this consolidation, many of the individual firms are now re-branded with a new name.

“With the growth that we have experienced in many of our firms, and with the traction that the SC&H Group, LLC name has in the marketplace today, we felt the time was right to more closely align our individual firm names with the SC&H Group, LLC brand,” said Tom Stout, Managing Partner.

SC&H Group, LLC – formerly Stout, Causey & Horning – is comprised of five unique firms, each with dedicated practices serving focused client needs.  While distinct by name, all of the unique firms offer services that complement the offerings of the other firms.  This unique blending of services across the firms is one of the major reasons that SC&H Group has achieved a 35% compound average annual growth rate since the firm’s inception. 

Three of the SC&H Group firms have changed their names. 

• SC&H Consulting – formerly Stout Causey Consulting, Chartered – offers business performance management, risk management, procure to pay solutions, and unclaimed property services.
• SC&H Capital – formerly Stout Causey Capital Corporation – evaluates and executes divestitures and acquisitions for middle market companies and private equity groups.
• SC&H State & Local Tax – formerly Stout, Causey & Horning State & Local Tax Consulting, LLC – assists middle market to Fortune 500 companies to minimize their state and local tax burdens.

Two of the firms will retain the same names as before. 

• SC&H Financial Advisors, Inc. provides wealth management services to individuals and families. Advisors create flexible, holistic plans, addressing a broad range of financial planning areas.
• Stout, Causey & Horning, P.A., well known in the marketplace, offers full service accounting and management consulting services to middle market and public companies.
