William D. Adams, Jr., CPA, CIA

Bill Adams’ clients include several of the most recognized companies in the world. He has managed successful consulting engagements for national and multinational corporations throughout the United States, Asia, Europe and Australia. Through comprehensive reviews of both the operational and internal control aspects of these organizations, Bill has assisted in identifying processing errors that have provided opportunities for cost savings, profit maximization, and cash refunds. His expertise lies in designing efficient and effective audit procedures to evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, controls, and terms and conditions of contracts.

Bill is the Director in charge of SC&H’s supplier audit services. In this capacity he works to ensure we exceed our client’s expectations on every project from engagements with small private companies to recurring engagements tied to the yearly audit plan of our Fortune 50 clients. Prior to joining SC&H, Bill was employed by a national accounting firm, where he specialized in Business Advisory and Assurance Services.

Bill received a B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of Maryland, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Bill is also a Certified Internal Auditor. In 2005 he was named one of Maryland’s Top 100 CPAs by Smart CEO magazine.
