Paul Shifrin, CPA

Paul is a Director with more than 14 years of experience in public accounting and 20 years of professional business experience. His responsibilities include oversight of the Consulting and Risk Management practice; the Employee Benefit Audit practice and SSAE 16 (formerly SAS 70) engagements. Paul provides services to organizations ranging in size from small start-ups to multinational companies providing internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley consulting, audits, and reviews.

Prior to joining SC&H, Paul worked for a “Big Four” international accounting firm where he honed his skills in the areas of auditing, internal controls review, and financial statement consulting.

Paul is active in the community and serves on the Board of Directors of Casey Cares Foundation.

Paul is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park with degrees in Accounting and Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed to practice in Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
