Lori Burghauser, CPA

Lori brings more than 18 years of combined tax and audit experience. Prior to joining SC&H, Lori was a former Tax and Audit Supervisor with a "Big Four" accounting firm. She has provided tax services, including ASC 740-10 (formerly FAS 109) provision services, and performed audits for a varied client base including Fortune 500 companies, Technology companies, Public companies, Not-For-Profits, Manufacturing companies, and middle-market and start-up companies. In addition, Lori has served as a Controller for a growing software company.

Currently Lori utilizes her strong technical skills and proactive approach to communication to serve and delight her clients. She is the Tax Principal for the not-for-profit clients of the firm, she provides merger and acquisitions consulting services, due diligence for business combinations, provides individual income tax planning, and has extensive experience with ASC 740-10 (formerly FAS 109).

Lori is a Certified Public Accountant and a summa cum laude, Lybrand medal of honor graduate of Loyola College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA),  and the Greater Baltimore Technology Council. She is also a member of the Federal Tax Committee of the MACPA and the AICPA and is on the Board of a regional not-for-profit organization.
